Living constantly at the peak of good health is not easily attainable, but by maintaining a balance of regular exercise with a varied and healthy diet (two factors under our control), one is able to control or prevent numerous medical conditions.

Growing evidence of links between diet and health reveal that by ensuring a healthy and varied diet, our susceptibility to many degenerative diseases can be lessened. The best diet provides all the necessary vitamins and minerals in quantities sufficient to maintain and optimise bodily cell functioning.

Calories should be adequate to age, sex, exercise level, weight etc., but never excessive, with sugar and fat kept to a required minimum, but with vitamins and minerals from vegetables, grains and fruit optimised. Supplements are there to augment good diet, not replace it. Enjoy your food, but remember... eat to live, not live to eat!

Two 45 minute consultations. Consultation one, your overall lifestyle, health and nutrition will be noted and aims discussed. You will then be asked to complete a strict 'true' two week nutrition diary. Return this to the therapist for analysis after which your second visit will be booked. Consultation two, your dietary plan will be explained and queries discussed.

After following the dietary plan for a minimum of one month,
subsequent appointments can be arranged and progress assessed.

In some cases, when the nutrition advice is strictly followed a detox
reaction can be experienced, i.e. headaches, fatigue and severe thirst. These should be short lived, but ask advice if concerned.

On occasion, the therapist may require you to consult a doctor prior to nutrition analysis.
